Holding a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Environmental Microbiology/Bioremediation from the University of Calabar, he has built an extensive career in environmental compliance and management, waste management, remediation, bio-processes, and water / sanitation.
Peter has held leadership positions across prominent organizations, including Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited, where he served as Waste Management Lead, and Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority, where he managed wastewater control and HSE operations. His career showcases a robust record of project coordination, policy formulation, and the successful implementation of environmental programs. He is adept at managing multidisciplinary teams and possesses strong competencies and skills in the areas of communication, negotiation, critical and strategic planning, project management, stakeholder engagement, and designing and implementing sustainable environmental solutions.
An active contributor to his field, Peter is affiliated with several professional organizations, such as the Chartered Institute of Water & Environment Management and the Nigeria Environmental Society. He has authored, researched and delivered presentations on topics like oil spill remediation, wastewater management, and climate change.
